The deliciously aromatic Red Door Gin Martinez is about to become your new favourite cocktail! A precursor to the Martini, the classic Martinez is a variation on the Manhattan, substituting whisky with dry gin, and combines sweet and dry vermouth, distinctive sour notes of Maraschino liqueur and a dash of orange bitters.
Ingredients
- 50ml Red Door Highland Gin
- 25ml Sweet Vermouth
- 5ml Dry Vermouth
- 5ml Maraschino Liqueur
- 2 drops orange bitters
Method
Stir all ingredients over ice for 90 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled Coupe glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
