Rumoured to be named after Royal Navy surgeon Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Gimlette who created this classic cocktail to give Naval officers a shot of Vitamin C with their rations to help prevent scurvy. The Gimlet is a simple and refreshing gin sour cocktail, mixing gin, lime juice and sweetened with simple syrup. Delicious with Red Door Gin’s botanicals and citrus notes.

Method

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake and fine strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
